HOW WE OPERATE

We try to keep things as straightforward as possible and hence we operate in a clear and logical way. The process is as follows:

  1. Initially, we will discuss your finance need on the telephone, obtaining key facts in order to assess if JMP Finance is likely to be able to help you
  2. If so, then we will probably arrange to meet you to find out more facts, detail and background. This meeting is always on a free, no obligation basis
  3. After the meeting, we will summarise your finance needs in writing, also detailing how JMP Finance operates and our fees. Once you, the client, are happy with everything, a Letter of Engagement is signed which formalises our discussions. This letter authorises our firm to act on your behalf
  4. We will then proactively approach our network of lenders to try to secure the required funding. Where relevant, we will arrange meetings between yourself and a potentially suitable lender
  5. We will keep you informed of all relevant progress
  6. Once an Offer of Finance is obtained, we will discuss this with you. Once you are happy with its terms, you sign this offer and you will then continue to liaise with the lender and corresponding solicitors in order to agree the date for funds drawdown.
